Where is......?

Logan has known his body parts (or atleast the major ones) for a long time. Tonight he was feeling photogenic and letting momma take pictures with poses. I didn't label them but I am sure you are all smart enough to figure it out.

I thought this was too cute not to share!!!
BTW: He just makes that face with the eyes, although it does look a little painful.

Our Christmas

Logan should probably write Santa a very long letter thanking him for all of the wonderful toys he brought for him this year. First we went to Sarah and Curt's new house to have Christmas with them and also with Deb and Ed. It was nice to have them in town for Christmas. Logan has really changed a lot since they saw his last (I believe it was right before his first bday). After that we went to Steph and Bob's to join my family. By the time we reached the half way mark, Logan was off playing with Emily's art table. It was a long day for him and a napless one none the less. I must say I was surprised how well he did without his nap. He fell asleep about 3 blocks from home and had no problems going right to bed. Now I just have to figure out how to explain to Logan why he doesn't see all of the Santas around town anymore. There are a couple that are already taken down and everytime we go by he says his version of HoHoHo in that "where did he go" tone of voice. Here is a semi-quick overview of his many gifts.
It is much fun to pick up his new shopping cart and dump everything out.

Logan is so cute with this toy. He gets it to play music and then dances around the kitchen while clapping his hand.

Fisher-Price Little People Spin and Crash Raceway. Very fun!!

Even though we already have some MegaBloks, Logan was very excited to get more. I am not sure which one is having more fun building in this pic.

Daddy was trying to show Logan how to use his new truck from Gma Deb and Gpa Ed. Logan was too preoccupied by the little grabber on the end to pay any attention to dad.

Besides his trucks and other toys seen in the pics, Logan also got a couple of books, a LeapFrog telephonics, a kitchen with accessories, a LeapFrog phonics bus, some clothes, a dump truck, a new magnadoodle, and more bath toys. I am sure that I missed a few as Santa was very generous. Have a safe and happy New Year!!!

Merry Christmas to you!!

We hope that you all had a GREAT Christmas!!!

Breakfast with Santa

This morning we (me, Logan, Steph, Emily and mom) met up the with Horvath's and the McCarty's at Eckert's for Breakfast with Santa. It was a nice time in which I think we all enjoyed. It included breakfast, pics with Santa, a wagon/train ride, face painting, and cookie decorating.
THERE WERE NO TEARS, but there was a lot of reaching to any familiar face that would save him.

Much to my surprise, Logan sat very still and let the girl paint a reindeer on his cheek. Good job bub!

This pic ranks right up there with them holding hands in the pumpkin patch. With a little help from Uncle Brian for positioning, I absolutely love the sweetness of this picture. These 2 are just too dang cute.

If you know Logan, you will not be surprised to find out that the tractor ride was a big hit. Every time he saw it, he wanted to ride it. He did get to ride twice but I must admit that the first time was much more exciting.

Logan had fun decorating his sugar cookie. A couple of times I had to stop him from eating all of the icing so it could make it to the cookie.

A Visit from St. Nick

Since daddy didn't get home before it was time to leave for breakfast, we waited until tonight to get our stocking stuffers. Logan's stocking was filled with a new puzzle, a Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer book, and a broom that is just his size. He loves to help me when I sweep or swiffer the floor so I new that this would be a perfect gift to tell St. Nick. So far he has swept the kitchen, living room, and the carpet in his room. He loves it.

Logan also got some new bathtub stickers in his stocking. There are buses, cars, trucks, a train, stop signs, traffic lights, and many more transportation related items. There is also a road you can build to drive all of them on. Needless to say, he had a fun bath tonight.

I hope St. Nick blessed you all with great goodies, toys, and surprises. There are only 19 days left until Christmas!!!!

Santa Claus Parade

Unfortunately in the healthcare business, you don't get many days off. The day after Thanksgiving is one of them. Steph watched Logan that day for me and all 3 met up with mom in front of the shop to watch the Santa Claus parade. From the way it sounded, I missed out on a lot of fun. Here are some pics Steph took that day.
I guess donuts make waiting not so bad.

Is the parade coming yet?

Logan's reaction to Santa doesn't look like much but according to Aunt Sis, he was so excited he dropped his sucker.

Yai gets a new friend

This past Saturday while Steph and I were doing some major Christmas shopping, mom took Emily and Logan to the mall. Emily wanted a cat also but unfortunately they were out. So instead, they both got a dog. Mom named the dog "Spot" for obvious reasons. The only was you can tell them apart is that Emily's dog has a pink collar. Logan likes his dog but Yai still ranks supreme.

Why leave Spot out of the many adventures. Logan decided to play in the laundry basket since it was empty tonight. Usually daddy pushes Logan around in it but tonight it was Yai. Spot didn't get a ride but got to snuggle instead. Just like Yai, Spot goes to bed with him every night and is "abused" just as much, maybe a little less, than Yai. Fun times!!!!
