No special reason

Here are some recent pics of Logan. I believe he is entering the terrible 2's. I can't make a true decision because he is also cutting his bottom two molars (and maybe one of his top ones) which I hear is worse than all of the rest of them. He is very clingy to me which I am also having a hard to deciding if it is just him or because of his teeth. I often have to tell him to turn on his ears, sit on his butt, not to throw his food, eat his food, etc. That list could go on and on. He is definitely finding and pushing his boundaries. He is also very big into "I do it" which comes out as "I da" while pointing to himself. Not so frustrating for him, just mom and dad. Many many other moms have survived this so I am confident that I will too.
Happy face
(We also have sad face, surprised face, and exstatic face)

Just being silly

Being silly again (and posing for the camera so he can look at the pic after I take it) in the chair.

Autumn update

Here is a little update on our newest little girl. She will be 8 weeks old on Mar 30 (technically she shouldn't even be born yet if you go by the due date) and is doing great. She is over six pounds now and is 19 inches long. I still feel like I am holding air when I hold her but you have to consider what I am used to holding. According to momma, she is moving pushing herself up and is a snuggler. It will be no time and this little girl will be crawling or walking and snuggling will be out of the question. Logan has shown some strong emotions when I hold her. He will look at me and tell me "mama" or "dada" and point to Sarah or Curt. Then he says yes when I ask him if he wants me to give Autumn back to mom or dad. He is just a bit jealous.

Logan's Birthday Party

Logan's official birthday party was on Saturday and it was a success. We were joined by lots of family and friends to help us celebrate. His firetruck cake was also a success. I think from now on I will stick to buying cakes unless something easier comes between now and his next bday. It wasn't hard, just time consuming and detailed. Anyway, a good time was had by all and Logan received many wonderful gifts that he will love to play with. Thanks to all that came!!!
Big smiles with the song and candle
Not too interested in eating the cake
Logan loves firetrucks
He was doing a good job sharing his toys with Maddy and Emelia and Matthew
They sat still much better this time
I can't believe my little bub is already 2. Happy Birthday baby, we love you!!!

Happy Birthday Logan!!!

Today is Logan's 2nd birthday!! We celebrated tonight with a trip to Dairy Queen with Grammies/PawPaw, Nana, Hope, and the Horvath's. By the end Logan was a mess but it was worth it. I was a nice little get together to hold us over until Saturday when we have the big party. Logan is still not on the talkative side but he can definitely get his point across. Most of his language is still in Logan speak but what can you do. He is growing like a weed (35 pounds of weeds) and now wears a shoe size of 8.5 and 3T shirts. Since he was blessed with momma's short legs, he still wears 2T pants. He acts off the wall half of the time and rarely sits still. The only things he will sit still for is Blue's Clues and Jurassic Park. He LOVES the dinosaurs and does not show one bit of terror. He even watches those crazy SciFi movies with my dad. He is also becoming Mr. Independent. Now he says "I da" when he wants to do something on his own. Sometimes it is appropriate and other times I have to let him try to the point of frustration until he lets me help him. He is still a very good little guy and I couldn't have asked for more. We love you bub, Happy Birthday.

Loves to wear daddy's hats backwards

Ice cream mess which later turned into a fudge face

By the time Logan was done with his ice cream it was soup. I used to love making ice cream soup when I was a kid.

Happy Birthday Maddy!!!

Maddy's birthday was on the 6th but we celebrated on the 8th with a party at the Incredible Pizza Co. in South County. Once we found the place we had a pretty good time. They had a nice large buffet to chose from with pizza, pasta, dessert, salads, and many more items. After we ate Maddy opened her gifts and then it was off to the play room. They had a section especially for toddlers with lots of fun rides.

Logan riding the carousel with Emelia

He really liked the airplane ride as the smile shows

Never to young to learn to drive

Trying to get these three to sit still gets harder and harder every time

Storytime with Curious George

Saturday was Curious George storytime at Barnes and Noble. Logan has been liking his C.G. book lately so I thought he would enjoy going. We arrived a little early so we browsed the books, especially the bargain section. Once Logan spotted the trains there was no chance to pull him away. Of course he waited until we got there to need a necessary diaper change and he had to bring a train with him because he was not giving them up. I did however manage to drag him away for a picture with C.G. but he went right back. His reaction to C.G. was about the same reaction we had with Santa, but from a distance he liked him. When we were getting ready to leave, I had to bribe him with a dinosaur book so he would walk away from the trains.

Not really enjoying much
