Sunday night we decided to join Nana, Aunt Bev, and Grammies for ice cream. We were supposed to go to the Dairy Haven in Caseyville but when we got there we quickly turned around. The lines were outrageous and none of us felt like waiting. We decided to go to Dairy Queen instead. Logan ate everyone elses ice cream rather than his own (noted to self for next time). By the end there was ice cream everywhere.

Bike Rodeo
This year was the 2nd annual Bike Rodeo by St. E's hospital. The highlight of the event is that the first 200 or so kids get free bike helmets and are also properly fitted for them. They also had the Belleville Police Ident-a-Kid program, Belleville FD smoke house, games and activities, hot dogs and snow cones and also Radio Disney.
Shriner's Parade
Friday night we headed downtown to see the Shriner's Parade. We met up with Grammies, Pawpaw, Sissy, Em's and Ashley, and a couple of other friends out in front of mom's shop. The weather was great for the parade and it wasn't too crowded where we were. Logan loved the firetrucks and music but wasn't too sure of the clowns or the people dressed up like animals.

It's...not a winner!
On Sunday, we treated ourselves to a Cardinal's game. Since it was last minute we had to buy our tickets on StubHub and look what we found. This is the view from our seat. We have never sat this close before. Unfortunately they lost but it was a good game.
It started raining in the 8th inning but not hard enough to warrant an umbrella. The Cards stayed in the game all the way to the end with good effort.
Logan meets Ashley
On Saturday, Logan finally got to meet his new baby cousin, Ashley. His reaction was a surprise to me, he could have cared less. He was too busy playing with Emily and all of the toys. He didn't even care when I held her. Usually he (atleast with Autumn) wants me to give her back to mom or dad. He did become interested when we told him her bink had dinosaurs on it and also when he found the nasal aspirator, he wanted to use it on her.

More Sweet Ashley
After dinner tonight I paid another visit to Steph and Ashley. From what it sounds like they had a great first night. She was up at 11:30 and again at 3. Then at 8:00ish Steph said she was still sleeping. Hopefully she will be a good sleeper. Ashley has been spitting up a lot already and has to burp at about every 10ml of formula.
She is so sweet and tiny. Steph let me feed her and I forgot just how little they are/were. I am so not used to little anymore and I must say I felt a little clumbsy. Logan was never this small so maybe that is why I felt that way (and if not that is my excuse anyway).

Mother's Day Festivities
Hello all, I hope you had a good Mother's Day. We had a great day and spent most of it with family and friends. First we went to Mima's for a Mother's Day brunch. We were in the good company of the Horvath's, Katie J., and of course the McCarty's. Papa Steve cooked us a wonderful meal, THANKS! Logan and Maddy had a blast together like usual. By the time we left Logan's was a mess. Oh well, I hear that is a sign of a good time. After some time at home and a nice long nap, we headed out to Steph and Bob's for some grillin' and ice cream. Logan had a great time and loved his 4-wheeler ride with Uncle Bob. I would have had pics but this dingbat left the memory card in the computer (again).
Now that I am a mother I can't imagine my life any other way. Even though there are times that are very trying and frustrating, I wouldn't trade it for anything. Again, Happy Mother's Day to all moms!!!!
